Ashendel is a striking region on the north-western coast of Dunshar, featuring a vast valley surrounded by Mount Ashendel, an active volcano. This isolated land is bordered by the roaring ocean to the west and jagged mountains to the north, creating a mysterious environment. The volcano regularly erupts, reminding its inhabitants of nature's power. Despite the harsh conditions, Ashendel is rich in natural resources, attracting miners and traders. The region is currently governed by the nation of Ashmuth, located in the southern part of Ashendel.
