Rewards: Item Reward Credits do not have to be spent on a weapon or armor alone, they can be used to pay for mods as well. So instead of purchasing a 1000 Cred gun you could buy a 200 Cred gun and trick it out with mods worth 800 or buy some extra ammo as well.
