Misselle Drunkhandle (Steelhead)

''Headbutt first, ask questions later''

Personality & Motivations

Misselle lives for two things:

  • A good drink.

  • A better fight.

She believes life is only worth it if you earn your drinks—but what counts as "earning" them is a loose concept. She technically works, but only just enough to justify the rivers of ale she consumes.

  • First to Swing, Last to Apologize – If words fail (or take too long), her forehead takes over.

  • Laughs at Pissboots, but Would Die for Him – She knows he's useless, but if anyone else insults him? They’ll wake up with fewer teeth.

  • Half-Sober Morality – She isn’t evil, but she isn’t a saint either. If a job is easy, fun, or pays well, she’ll do it. If not? Meh.

  • Believes in “Honest Work” (Even if It’s Just Bouncing Drunks from a Tavern) – Unlike Pissboots, she needs to feel like she’s done something to deserve her pleasures.

  • Boisterous & Fearless – She never backs down from a fight, even when it’s stupid.

Backstory

Misselle grew up in a hard-working dwarven family that ran a blacksmithing business. She tried to follow the trade, but quickly found out that she preferred smashing heads over forging helmets. While her siblings made swords, she was using her skull to break bar tables.

She found a natural talent for brawling, which led her to odd jobs as a tavern bouncer, mercenary, and general "problem solver."

Her legendary headbutt earned her the nickname “Steelhead”, and she wears it with pride. To her, there’s nothing more satisfying than cracking someone’s skull with her own.

How She Ended Up in Fort Joy

Like some other Source-prisoners, Misselle never even knew she had magic. One day, during a particularly rowdy fight, she headbutted a man so hard that his head exploded, literally.

Turns out? That wasn’t just brute strength. That was Sourcemagic.
