The Soul Guard is an organization mostly consisting of False Undead natives of The Ethereal Plane. The organization's sole purpose is to put to rest restless souls, the ethereal beings who find themselves unable to move on from their past lives and haunt The Ethereal Plane and its neighbors. It is lead by Vortex, God of Lost Souls.
The Soul Guard also on occasion deals with intruders, typically adventurers, who want to traverse the plane. They prefer non-violent solutions but will not hesitate to battle those who refuse to heed their warnings and find a hasty exit.

Minimal: This group has some power, but few people pay them mind of day. They have to be resourceful and clever to achieve their aims and could easily be eliminated.
Moderate: This group is stable and powerful. They are considerably allies or enemies, but not insurmountable. More powerful groups may see them as a threat to be eliminated, less powerful groups may seek to ally with them to combine their powers.
Major: This group can sway the course of entire nations. They are a force to be reckoned with. Taking down such a group will not be easy.
