Overview

Wreath is a celestial in service to Reaper and their realm. She shepherds the souls of the young onto their next life. Long ago she requested that Reaper permit her to oversee this duty, and they agreed. She can sense when a young soul is close to passing, and likes to show up early, an invisible presence who ensures that no child ever dies alone. When one she is with miraculously survives, they will summon Orbon to ensure there will be someone to care for the child afterwards.

Wreath, like all deities, has a celestial name which is far too complex for most mortals to pronounce. They took the name "Wreath" in mortal tongues after the invention of the flower wreath, and it has become customary to lay wreaths at the graves of the young.

Appearance

Wreath takes forms which they know their children will find trustworthy and comforting. They are so used to doing so, that they find themselves instinctively shifting even when meeting with followers or other deities.

Holy Symbol

<How does a cleric or champion of this deity identify themselves as such by appearance?>

Influences

Wreath believes that no child should ever die alone. She helps the young pass on as comfortably as possible, soothing their fears and drying their tears, a kindhearted figure amidst the loss and tragedy too great for them to grapple with. Her kindness should not be mistaken for a resistance of death, as she believes death is necessary.

Wreath is close with No'vel and Orbon. She has a respectful relationship with Reaper, but it is that of a worker and boss or mentee and mentor.
