The lattice refers to the complex, interconnected "web" of alignment towards a facet or aspect of Aether, Tellur or Sussur.

Aspects are primeval elements gathered and ordered by Iyunasai, the creator of Nheros, to serve as foundations on which to model the life and realms of the Realm Matrix. Facets are more individual elements that Iyunasai considers more as threads of the tapestry.

Facets can manifest within both primary aspects.

Abyssal and Empyreal are the primary aspects, frequently expressed in the concept of 'dark' and 'high' by Nheran scholars.

High is expressed by a tendency toward order (which in turn refers to the Iyunasai's first intentions when structuring the matrix), creation and preservation.

Dark expresses as a tendency toward chaos (the divergence from Iyunasai's initial plans), destruction and violence.

One misconception by mortals is that the Iyunasai has a preference for Empyreal because Abyssal facets are frequently thought to bring more suffering, which many species abhor because it is unpleasant. In fact, Iyuna allows Abyssal to grow in fascination for its manifestations, which it believes to be a mirror to the Empyrean, not a true opposite. Order is as destructive to Chaos as the other way around.

Facets are elements. These elements are manifested by faceted aether and can become physical tellur or semi-physical sussur. Some facets are Verdant, Infernal, Celestial, Wild, Beast, Shadow.

Arcs. Simple elements of primacy. Sometimes known as rings or flashes. These are more specific manifestations of facets as they appear in the physical, seen world. Think of them as the "flash" of a faceted gem. These are "design elements" of life creation and are "attached" as aetheric signatures to a realmstar.

An arc would be things such as oceans, wings, horns, a season.
