A large, carnivorous lily from the desert that feeds on the juices of its prey- blood, venom, organs, and other things. Its body is wide enough to trap beasts as large as centaurs and it holds them within with bulbous, slimy tentacles.

Epole lilies are brightly-coloured with deep roots. They spend their time wrapped up and, when disturbed, unfold to reveal tentacles and grippers within their "mouths".
