In Raeth, these voidkin are usually preyed on for their diminutive size and supple aether. In Nhera, they are functionally useless but come in many different colours.

Being so ineffectual, Nycti usually go unseen by most other creatures. This can lead them to being displaced through rifts easily into Nhera and the other realmstars. However, only certain individuals of these realms are able to perceive them.

For their resemblance to fruits, many that can see them consider them to be harmless pests and others like to collect them.
