Nhera's locations are steeped in the history of the realmstar's creation. Even their placement upon the realm is the result of carefully ordered structuring gone awry when forces outside of the realm caused upheaval during the Dark Days.

Denizens of Nhera understand directions through the use of ley cardinals connected to the now-distorted aetherial rivers above and below the land's surface.

Valurn, once the supercontinent of Erellurn, served as the basis for what Nhera would become later-- With four quadrants of seasons, designed by the Aglaeçai and their children the Eotenari.

When the realm was physically broken, the manarivers that flowed from the The Starwell were dispersed to further afield. At first, their flow was weak and diluted by the invading forces they sought to consume Nhera's aether for themselves. As the Eldar fought them back and eventually away, growth and renewal was able to finally take root in the new continents surrounding the now-significantly-smaller Valurn.

Now, upon any Nheran cartographer's map, you'll see the realm's ley-cardinal of summer swirling to the bottom left, autumn towards the top right, spring towards the bottom right and finally winter curling over the top left.
