Sorcerer

Overview

Weave the arcane leylines of infinite potential and shape it in your image! The Sorcerer is the quintessential magic user who can conjure powerful spells from nothing but sheer will. Be it through raw instinctual talent or through years of exam-riddled study, the Sorcerer can now hurl great balls of fire at their enemies and throw up forcefields to keep themselves safe. But beware, this arcane energy is volatile and unpredictable.

Tropes

Witches, warlocks, elementalists, mages.

Complexity

Recommended for new players who are not scared of managing resources and taking risks. This Archetype is combat-focused but pretty straightforward.

Gameplay

Conjurology is very powerful in combat situations, but its Powered Abilities require a lot of Focus. To offset this, you can use Mindful or Adrenaline to gain Focus by sacrificing a Major Action or Endurance. A Sorcerer is constantly assessing risk and reward. The potential benefits are huge, but so are any unintended consequences.
