They're equipped with a very particular set of skills (mainly skulduggery) and they are so very adept at it. If things go south, they have backup plans for their backup plans.

Recommended for new players. This Archetype is adventure-focused and straightforward.
With 5 Competence Dice, you be rolling well for Skills from the get-go. Naturally, Conceal will be your bread and butter, hiding in the shadows, picking pockets. If your Conceal fails however, you can try to lie your way out of the situation using Deceive. If that fails as well, you could try to Tumble out of being captured. Speaking of Tumble, you'll also be fantastic at getting to hard-to-reach places, like tight spaces or walls to scale.
With Concentrated, if an essential Skill roll ever goes awry, you can use your limited focus to bump up the dice faces in your favor. Covert will let you Dodge with competence as long as you're sticking to the shadows or hiding behind cover.
Dismantle: You are meticulous in picking locks and disarming traps.
Conceal: You're good at hiding yourself and what you're doing.
Tumble: You're good at climbing and contorting.
Deceive: Honesty doesn't get you very far.
Suggested Traits: Quick Fingers allows you to have more reliable results for dagger attacks and reloading crossbows, Riposte allows you to make an attack after dodging something. Cool-headed allows you to effectively execute 3 Skills in a single turn.
To go the specialist route, choose additional Skills to be competent in.
Alternatively, you can learn the Strategems power to become more versatile in combat.
