Throw

When rolling Force to throw something, use the following Die Effects to determine how far you're able to throw it. In this case, the highest roll counts, and you're able to easily target whatever is within that range. See Measurements.

  • Drop: You drop whatever you're trying to throw on the ground.

Examples

  • A Player tries to lift a heavy iron door from its hinges, they roll Force to get and need at least 2 Successes.

  • A Player tries to throw a spear to a Nearby target. They roll a 1, a 3 and a 5. They make the throw because the highest roll is Far-Off.

  • The Conductor makes each Player roll Force or Tumble (their choice) to see if they can successfully climb a mountain cliff.

If you're using the Advanced Module, it takes a Minor Action to pick up whatever a Player dropped.
