On this day, the 22nd of September in Year 11 of the Common Era

A message from Her Royal Majesty, Queen Castracia...

"I bet you are bummed you were unable to make it out to Legend, this past Sunday. (As you SHOULD be!) Oh- I'm sure a few of you reading this post will deny it. You'll, with as much insistence as possible, say you had better plans. But - you and I, well...we know the truth. Since you missed out on all of the scuttlebutt of the day, I'm going to dish it out.

Starting over at the Silver Wyvern tournament ring! In one corner we have Croc, in the other corner, we have every single foe she destroyed. Let's give it up to, Croc, the winner of the Silver Wyvern! HUZZAH!!!!

What's that sound? Is that...? Is that the sound of true grit? Is it the sound of victory? Yes. Yes, I believe that IS the imposing sound of the soul of the Dragon. And who does the soul reside in, currently? Oh - that would be none other than Syr Nada Zukonian, winner of the Dragon Tournament.

Look, up in the sky! It's a bird. It's a plane! Oh...no - wait, it IS a bird. More precisely, it's a HAWK! That Hawk's name? Oh, that's none other than Firecracker winner of the Hawk Tournament. HUZZAH!!! May those arrows continue to never miss their mark. (Unless you're firing them at your Queen.)

Moving onto our A&S Tournament, we were given little glimpses into your minds and hearts. Every entry was done with purpose and passion. Despite EVERY submission being fantastic, one entrant squeezed past the others to clinch the victory and that is the Bardic performance by Kizen. It was a lovely, musical number that, I'm sure, with the right amount of coaxing, he could be convinced to play for us again.

Congratulations to Baron Dingo Zukonian for gaining the "Master" in "Master Druid"!!!! HUZZAH!!!!

It is no easy feat to acquire a Noble Order. For the first win, you are competing against everyone else, but for a "Masterhood" Noble Order, you are going up against everyone else AND the version of "You" that earned the first one. This is an incredible feat. Let's give a resounding "HUZZAH!" to the following citizens:
Lord Thwack Axefoot for achieving a Master Griffin
Baron Achilles for earning his Master Stag

Let's not forget about the new garb requirements given to Duke Sapph Zukonian and Baron Sinskar. Can't wear a plain red belt, any longer. Now, they have to dress fancy with a gold trim added to the red. (*eye roll* SOoooo extra...) In all seriousness, earning the elevation to Knight Bachelor is an incredibly, challenging undertaking and is not to be taken lightly. Congratulations, gentlemen. HIP, HIP! HUZZAH!!!!

Before closing out, I'd like to give praise to the players who volunteered to judge/reeve on Sunday. I know a number of you were doing so, in a tournament capacity, for the first time. Many of us have been there and at least one person (me) was terrified they would mess up calls and anger veteran players. (I did.) It's nerve-racking and intimidating. Thank you for stepping up.

~HRM, Dame Castracia~

P.S..: 5 months and 3.5 weeks until the Spring Equinox."
