Defeated the troglodyte priest, Malerian the Unwashed, and the Maggot God (but what is a god, really?)—Ghesh and Droop went down during the fight from the Maggot’s frozen breath, but they were revived. (1,650 xp)
Recovered the body of Hal from the Three Fingers of Fate.
Recovered the Blade of Winter’s Bite from the corpse of the Maggot God, keeping it at arm’s length with Erazin’s “creepy hand thing”.

Digging amongst the muck of the Maggot God, found 96 gp and the Vainglorious Boots.
Camped for the night in a cave mouth within the Whispering Marsh—during the night, two troglodytes dragging a body made for the cave but were dissuaded by a spell from Erazin.
In the morning, Callum made a deal with a crow—a shiny mirror in exchange for a lookout.
Descended back into the dungeon, hiding Hal’s body and the winter’s bite blade within the maggot corpse.
Encountered the two troglodytes from the night before, who feared enough for their lives to give a guided tour.
Found twelve opals (480 gp) in a leather sack within an enchanted pool, collected a water skin from the pool, and forced the trogs to bathe.
In Malerian’s library, collected a fine rug (300 gp) a valuable book (100 gp) and several tomes concerning the histories of the Hundred-Years Winter and the Eilvalorian Kings.
In Malerian’s private chamber, collected four candlesticks (200 gp), a letter to the “Lord of the Long Night”, and the Necklace of Snowy Dawn.
Found a maggot idol. (500 gp)
Forced the trogs into the spider’s lair (50 xp), collecting 30 gp in the process.
Father William has requested you retrieve the dragon slaying sword from Sir Brandon’s barrow mound (and see what has become of Brother Dirk, if time allows). In exchange, he offers blessings (the casting of one cleric spell up to level 3).
“Drop Dead” Ned of the Five Fingers of Fate requests that you clear out whatever is causing problems in the Alverith river exit of the town sewers and return the body of Hal, dead or alive. In exchange, he offers 1,000 gp, a favor, and use of the sewer system unimpeded—he will also make an introduction into the Fingers.
