Through might and guile, the party fought and defeated the Elf Lord (450 xp).
They allowed his elvish “guests” to flee (100 xp), but not before claiming the valuables from their pockets—150 ancient elvish silver pieces (15 gp) and 9 songbird eggs.
The Elf Lords jester and majordomo, Moth-in-Water, led the party to the treasure vault behind a secret door where three chests—containing: 4,002, copper pieces, 540 silver pieces, 2,154 gold pieces, assorted treasure (3,908 gp for coins and treasure), the Wand of Moss Oak, the Rod of the Centipede, and the Gloves of Naughtiness and Sauciness—and four magic mirrors—one to the Hen’s Teeth Tavern, the second to the dining hall upstairs (now to the starry void), the third to the Prismatic Tower, and the forth to the Winter Wood in the realm of Faërie.
As the Brugh began to collapse, its purpose fulfilled, Moth-in-Water led the party through in search of the remaining lost children, but before any were found he was consumed by the giant bronze crocodile—the beast was promptly shoved from the balcony to shatter down below on the dance floor (75 xp).
Downstairs, the party located the remaining lost children as they dodged crazed animals and falling stones, helping each other along the way (and ditching 8 bottles of wine in exchange for a set of plate armor (-240 gp).
The party and the children attempted to flee through the coat room mirror with the children, but found it to be mundane.
Gathering the children, the Mushroom King, and the Coat-Goat, they rushed downstairs to the treasure vault to use the magic mirrors there, narrowly avoiding more falling rocks and collapsing passageways.
Once in the treasure room, they escorted their companions through the mirror leading to the Prismatic Tower—there they recruited the help of Malzazerick the Magnificent to shrink the horse Ned so he could come with them.
It was a close call, but everyone escaped through the mirror.
In the tower, Yenok Crown Tattlemater Arlanodel sought to possess the mirrors the party brought with them, arranging a meeting for the next day—a meeting the party would skip.
Back at the Golden Egg Tavern, Callum and Katgur were inducted as full members into the League of the Oaken Table—there the party also collected two quests.
Over the next days and weeks, townsfolk brought thanks and gifts to the party, including the promised jewels and gems from the House of Figwort (453 gp).
Father William has requested you retrieve the dragon slaying sword from Sir Brandon’s barrow mound (and see what has become of Brother Dirk, if time allows). In exchange, he offers blessings (the casting of one cleric spell up to level 3).
“Drop Dead” Ned of the Five Fingers of Fate requests that you clear out whatever is causing problems in the Alvereth river exit of the town sewers and return the body of Hal, dead or alive. In exchange, he offers 1,000 gp, a favor, and use of the sewer system unimpeded—he will also make an introduction into the Fingers.
A running total of the value of all treasure, including coins, to be sold and split amongst the party upon returning to town.
Session 3: 1,975 gp.
Session 4: 4,136 gp.
Each: 1,528 gp.
A running total, to be split amongst the party upon returning to town.
Session 3: 2,882 xp.
Session 4: 4,761 xp.
Each: 1,911 xp.
