"A family of dwarves who live in the Agermount foothills out west used to come into town to trade their metals. They haven’t come around in a while." - Overheard at the Golden Egg Tavern.

You learn that three brother dwarves live in a cottage by the woods, in the foothills of the Agermount, where they also have a small mine (hex 0818). They usually come to town once a week to sell or barter with their metals, but they haven’t been around for a moon—ever since the dragon appeared in the Wealdwood.

You also learn from a keen-eyed observer that the brothers seemed to be arguing last time they were in town—something about a new treasure they found.

Further research reveals that the dwarves supposed they had discovered the lost treasure of Carmelo the Cursed.

The dwarven miners were all killed by their brother Brol, who transformed into a dragon because of a curse. The dead dwarves have since been avenged by the Smoke Show Adventuring Company.
