The dark, coniferous forest south of Daring Heights begins only a mile from the town, and has been its primary source of lumber since it was founded. The Feythorn Forest gained its name from the variety of Feywild connections it has, centred around a valley a half-day's travel into the trees.

Its northern fringe is reasonably well explored, and the adventurers and foresters of Daring Heights may mention landmarks such as “the buried tower”, “the three stones”, “Gegrun’s temple”, “the Turnabout Tree”, or “the valley of beautiful flowers”. Crossing the Feythorn from north to south is said to take about five days, barring mishaps.

A unicorn named Aribeth guards this forest in much the same way that Will, the Sylvan Seraph guards Angelbark. Though the major threat of the Twilight emerged from the north, the Feythorn Forest is typically thought of now as the more perilous. Undead, lycanthropes and more have all been found within, and after all it is where Granny Longtooth chose to make her original home.
