The Dawnlands rebuilt. The construction industry boomed once again as burned buildings needed clearing and restoration. Replacing the fallen Commander Jadefist, Ignatius Trymyng became the new leader of the Daring First. Adventurers grieved for those they had lost, though one at least - Sylvia - was able to be resurrected. But the job offers kept coming in.
In many ways it was business as usual. The Infinite Staircase continued to be a mind-bending revenue stream for adventure. Unrelatedly, the Witch of Infinite Renown was slain in the hells. The aforementioned sexy fiends were finally put to bed, as it were. A False Hydra stole memories in Port Ffirst and the curse of the Von Vald family caused issues of its own.
A magical notebook called the Librarion ascended to near godhood with belief of a Kuo-Toa group, only to be eventually defeated before it carved out a new domain in Mechanus. The Burdocks, having fled after the Gith battle, turned up again in K’ul Goran, two of them already returned to their old murderous ways. And Leocanto opened a restaurant, to predictably chaotic results.
In K’ul Goran, political tensions rose, and adventurers tried to navigate a complex landscape to mixed results. An enclave of unusual elementals were encountered in the Southern Sunset Spine which didn’t have political tensions, but the adventurers created plenty of their own. There was also a Lich recently arrived from the Witching Court who caused trouble for her own reasons. How mysterious.
After a long period of internal turmoil, Aeschira finally opened their doors to outsiders again deep in the Underdark. In the Court of Harmony where the now Queen Merla ruled, a temple was uncovered and exploration of this Temple of Seasons began, seemingly a site of an ancient attempt at peace in the Feywild.
Winter was coming, and the Dawnlands started planning a wonderful festival in New Hillborrow to celebrate. A Sphere of Annihilation burying slowly through the earth directed by the notorious wizard Tim caused some degree of panic to what chaos he would sow during the festival, especially with his multitude of oozy allies. The concern was for nothing however, as he was quickly tracked down and dispatched beneath the city of Daring Heights.
The moment came, the festival arrived. Adventurers held their breath and – nothing happened. It was a lovely time. It was a time of peace and tranquility and regeneration. For once, it seemed, the Dawnlands had earned a reprieve. A short distance away, around a table in a tavern, a group of cloaked figures agreed on their plan and left - a problem for another day.
The Dawnlands entered a period of reconstruction following the Githyanki attack
The wizard Tim threatened the Dawnlands with a Sphere of Annihilation in a slow approach, but ultimately fell into the orb and both he and it were destroyed
A winter festival took place without incident, to peace and tranquility all round
