New Town, now a central district of Port Ffirst, had sprung up during the time Daring was being rebuilt after it was sacked. A merchant and a sailor extraordinaire Voros Lenoir had finally discovered the maritime route from the Sword Coast to the shores of Kantas. Together with the destruction of the portal leading from Faerun to Daring Heights, this meant that Port Ffirst was the (f)first checkpoint for most new arrivals, boosting town's economy drastically.

At the heart of the New Town is The Flourished Hook, a luxurious tavern established by the now deceased Soros Lenoir, Voros' much more business-oriented brother. Many adventurers stay here hoping one day to find the job to make them famous - those, who can afford it, at least.

A distinctive web-like network of narrow cobblestone streets and alleys of the New Town is full of shops and cafes and is always buzzing with activity. Here you can shop for anything from recipe books to magical weapons.
