Valthoria is a heartland province at the heart of Imperion, an old and settled country of Roman towns, rolling hills, and mountains. Its roots run deep in the empire's history, and it keeps the classical character of Imperion at its most traditional.

Valthoria sits in the interior of Imperion, between the capital's country to the west and Valentis Fields to the east. It is a land of hills and highland, rising to Valthoria's Birth Mountains in the north, with the still waters of Valen's Mirror and the heights of Saltstone Rise among its landmarks. Its towns, Aquilia, Castrum, Corinthis, Palatina, and Twillencroft, are spread across the uplands, and the Ebonshade Thicket shadows its northern edge.

Valthoria is orderly heartland: farms, hill-towns, and old families holding to Imperion's classical traditions, firmly under imperial law. It is the empire's settled core rather than its frontier, a place of long memory and deep roots.
