This set of wealthy families is collectively called the Old Blood Houses. They claim to be holdovers of the Daal Duchies from the Hundred Years of Struggle. They ally themselves with the Coursers' Lodge and have great influence within the ranks of the guild.
House Trufflepig: Considered the lowest born of the houses, and has a history of internal squabbling.
House Stagsteak: The oldest of the houses. They have a significant militaristic background and meddle in the affairs of the Sentinels.
House Pheastew: The most learned of the houses. They advocate for good education, tend to libraries and fund private schools. They are well regarded as philanthropists.
