Gorescalp is the collective name of various orc tribes that took refuge in Hub, Capital City after a historical exodus, allegedly when Mohgbang sundered the continent. After many skirmishes with previous kingdoms, they negotiated for a place in Hub, now known as Gorescalp Reservation.
Orcs here pursue traditional practices and try to keep their ancestral culture alive. Such practices include training in the Way of the Iron Stomach and the Path of the Gorger. Other traditions include passing on history orally via Skalds, as opposed to written accounts.
Many young descendants have adapted to the ways of hubfolk however, creating some internal friction. The reservation is generally open and friendly to those of non-common lineage, but the tribe elders may be apprehensive towards humans, elves, and dwarves due to their ancient confrontations. They also openly denounce the Bain-marie for how they exploit and disrespect nature.
