Skyblood are the captains of the air between the disjunctions. Proud, skilled, and free spirited this ancestry is split into two factions.

Skylost are the "lost ones" counter to the skyfaring Skyborn. Skylost were born on land or were cast out from the Skyborn for some misdeed, betrayal, or other offence. As penance Skylost temper their lifestyles. Simple, peaceful... and yet always yearning for the free life of their ether soaring cousins.

Children born of Skylost and another ancestry that are not Skyblood still call themselves Skylost though outside of their culture this means very little.

Skyborn live almost exclusively on their majestic silver ships. It is taboo for a Skyborn to live or travel inland for an extended period of time. They pity their landlocked 'Lost' cousins. It is not uncommon for a ship to pick up one of the Lost's females during laor, allowing them to give birth over the open sky so the child may be apart of the Skyborn though this does mean a female giving up her infant to be raised by strangers.

Skyblood are colorful humanoids with light infused hair. Skylost lose their luster being away from the open skies becoming dull reflections of their counterparts.
