DescriptionThe worlds of our universe are all parts of one singular ethereal tree. Most of the places on it must be taken with a grain of salt as everything is ethereal. Its full scope cannot be understood by mere mortals, even if magic allows them to catch a glimpse of it.
The branches of the world tree are as wide as continents, while thick and hollow. The branches can be traversed from the inside via astral vessels as the currents from the heartwood still run along on a slower pase.
The outside of the branches are filled with "Plane-panthers" or simply Panthers. These are ships with grasshopper like appendages that jump, climb or glide from leaf to leaf. Many astral beings live here, allowing civilizations to survive in this spacial environment.
While walking outside of the tree is an eternity of cliffside walks with a fall that kills you with starvation than impact.
Inside the tree is the "Xylem" (which is the part of the tree that transports water) but in here the waterfall just flies upwards as if gravity is reversed, even if gravity if perfectly in the central colomn.
The water stream of the xylem is as fast as a rapid wide river while it remains 30 miles wide per section. It connects continually several junctions, as the branches extend into the heartwood influenced by Stochis, resulting in a massive wall of elements at your sides.
Gith yanki pirates lurk throughout this area making constant communication with heartwood settlements essential to not enter an ambush.
Around the many roots of the world tree is a large "Nebula sheet" of vibrant colours like an aurora. This sheet can't be penetrated for more than 40 feet deep as if protected by a force field. There are however places were the sheet is broken, considerably many near the roots of Styno.
Under the Nebula sheet is the sea of stars, a large expanse of emptiness filled with sporadic stars. Gravity doesn't exist there allowing your ship to fly if it has the momentum to continue further. Some consider it similar to flying with the Levitate spell.
Just beware of the Dreadnaughts.
While it might appear daunting to see that Phalanx has the world as his home, it is actually more a chore than anything else. Some would thing that Genesis or the Zenith would be the caretakers of the worldtree, it is actually Phalanx that does the heavy lifting.
While his repairs of the tree aren't on a perfect scedule, it can be anticipated and noticed on all realms. During his repairs, the connection between planes shuts down for a small moment of time, while most gods have their divine power scattered Mirage doesn't. As such, when the connection is cut from the planes, all the suns on every realm becomes black for but a few minutes.
He has his true home in the rock that the world tree is perched apon with a large stalagmite cave system.
