An isle of Water Elementals who tend to the waterways. Perched on high, the World Tree cascades gallons at its apex.
While sailing the Sea of Fate at Vermintide 2025, the Grove’s sea vessel was unexpectedly grasped by exuberant Water Elementals, Faucette and Spiggette. Knowing the Faction's deeds, the Elementals effortlessly pulled the contingent to a nearby island’s dock. On the horizon, the Grove witnessed a mystical, magical waterfall crushing down from a massive plateau, upon which was rooted a titanic Tree. Rivers snaked from the Falls. The helpful Water Elementals graciously offered them safe haven and settlement. But with a warning:
“You are welcome here! But you must not shift the waterways.” - Faucette, Water Elemental
The Grove calls this place Artesia, called such because of the mysterious water flowing from a sky-high plateau in the island's center. At the top of the plateau stands what the natives call The World Tree. It seems that from this Tree (or beneath it) that the waters flow, spilling to the grounds below and eventually into the The Sea of Fate via estuaries.
Water Elementals are the primary denizens that dwell within Artesia, tending to– and seemingly forming from-- its rivers. The Tree and the waters which blast upward from deep underground, perhaps from aquifers as far down as the Underdark, are a mystery as enduring as the shimmering, yet terrifyingly powerful waterfalls.
Structures within the Watershed, the surface layer of Artesia are sparse and as-needed. Water Elementals have little need for shelter beyond the rivers, so much of the island is wild or shaped minimally to accommodate others.
