The The Green Dragon Brotherhood continues its escape through the sewers of Rainwall City, blundering into a large room booby trapped with fire pots falling from the ceiling. Luckily, they all are still wearing their fireproof suits from the bluff they ran on the The Red - but how much heat can these suits absorb?
For sure we will find out!
Being the thrifty adventurers they are, they scavenge the two remaining fire pots, which apparently had been set to protect the smugglers from the Slop Gorger that inhabits the passageway between them and their horses. Greer the Betrayer does a little recon, sees the beast, and then the fire pots are immediately put to use, softening up the beast and resulting in a fairly anticlimactic boss battle...
As they emerge from the sewers, they find the promised horses. Skarrow came through!
They ride into the night, hoping they won't catch Ur-Balat's attention. Sleeping by day and travelling under the cover of darkness, they make a beeline for the Spine of Ulgoth, avoiding several nasty encounters along the way (note: the GM was trying a new encounter system and YAWN).
Graxus smiles upon them, and they find what they were looking for with very little difficulty, if you don't count a little bitty rockslide that nearly takes Greer the Betrayer out. Rising high above them on the face of the mountain - the entrance to Dreadwhisper Tunnel...
