The Doomsmen of the Harmonious Resolve are an order of tragic warriors whose primary goal is the extermination of a strange affliction whose sufferers the Resolve call “Revelers”.

The Resolve takes any and all, on the sole condition they too have suffered the same wound as the others. One and all they bear a psychic scar which connects them all to the patron of the order, the one the order is named for. The being called Harmonious Resolve is a strange demigod-like figure, it is unknown if he has a true corporeal form, though members are very open about him incarnating to lead training and drills.

A humanoid figure with translucent white skin akin to pottery and a flat disc-shaped head, the Harmonious Resolve appears to each of his would-be warriors when they arrive at the land controlled by his acolytes and offers his power in exchange for servitude. Those who take this otherworldly pact claim to find great solace as their mind is touched on by those of every living member of the army. The warrior cult make for exceptional teachers and trainers, every member is always in top fighting form, even when assigned to the no less important logistics tasks of cleaning, feeding their fellows or maintaining weaponry, amongst other tasks.

Harmonious Resolve, the organisation and the being both, say they have existed for hundreds of years in an unending war against the malady that creates Revelers, though this is of course difficult to prove. Revelers are creatures afflicted by a strange malady that causes them to become frenzied but no less intelligent. All Revelers seek nothing more than the killing and destroying of humanoids and will even fall dormant for long periods of time if no targets are within the range of their senses, before seeming to burst into action at random and roaming in search of targets. Reveler victims remain capable of speech and during violence (whether the perpetrator or victim) they cackle with a mad glee, often making crude or cutting remarks about their surroundings before succumbing to laughter and spasms.

Regardless of their history and experience, all serving members of the Harmonious Resolve are Warlocks in service to their patron.
