Halia Thornton is a Human woman living in Phandalin. She is Guild Master for the of the Miner's Exchange and deals with a lot of the locals. She has a big hand in the economics of the town and publicly opposes Harbin Wester’s rule of the town. She has earned the respect of nearly all of Phandalin’s miners and working class, as she’s a champion for the wellbeing of the town. She has been known to disappear for weeks at a time, sometimes to neighboring mines—but it’s been rumored she has worked intricate deals with the Dwarves in the North.
