Airships are the pinnacle of wealth, power, and military power. Empires live and die by their airships, as their usefulness is only second to their cost to produce, crew and maintain. They are held aloft in the sky by some form of propulsion, powered by a magic power source, such as silver or gold Magicite.

Propellers, or Vent Rings, which are large metal rings enchanted to facilitate levitation and propulsion, are generally how airships move about.

The larger the ship, the more myst is required to keep it aloft. Many larger airships have a Magicite Reactor, which uses special materials and processes to draw myst from the magic stones more efficiently, but comes with additional dangers.
