The Gol are the descendants of the great Ancient Giants, proud and noble. They tower over all humanoid races of Thurn, their heritage apparent. They sport stone flesh, wide and powerful frames, features seemingly chiseled from the stones of the mountains themselves, and dim, cool eyes.
They are well adjusted to the harsh cold of mountain peaks and frozen valleys. Some amount of tradition and practice from their Giant ancestors tend to carry over into the societies of modern Gol clans. Some may see their views as simplistic, or barbaric, but the Gol value the virtue found in honoring their ancestors.
Gol society values respect and honor, and the upholding of ones legacy. Family, and the honor of their name granted by their deeds and the deeds of their progenitors mean a great deal to them. They revere the ability to create, and masterworks are proudly kept and ancestral relics.
