The Elves are known for their spiritualism, and their reverence of the natural forms found in the world. They are innately magical, and are said to have been the first of the races to control and use magic. As such, spellcasting tradition is deeply rooted in the elven ways. Magic is considered a vital part of nature and life itself by elves, and elves have historically used mystic arts in their normal lives, their weapons, their crafts, and their great forest glades. Elves spend much of their lives slowly perfecting a craft or an art. An elven weaponsmith may have spent hundreds of years slowly perfecting his personal design, each detail taken into account.
Elves cannot die of old age, and it takes thousands of years for an elf to begin greying. They are slender, tall, and have remarkably sharp features. Their eyes can vary to be any bright color, such as blue, green, gold, or purple, and their heads of hair can be blondes, browns, blacks, and rarely, amber and red.
