Spell Description:

You gather a ball of fire in your hand, which you hurl up to 60 feet away. The fireball explodes into a 10 foot radius sphere of flame upon impact. Creatures inside the sphere must make a Dexterity Saving Throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 5d6 fire damage. On a success, they take half damage. Flammable objects inside the sphere are ignited.

Fire is hard to control, and this spell is often taught to young pyromancers to reinforce that fact.
