Critical Hits

If an attack rolls a 20, or a Saving Throw rolls a 1, it is a Critical! Critical hits are a guaranteed hit, ignoring AC.

Normally, Criticals double the damage dealt.

Alternatively, there are other options.

When you critically hit with any attack, rather than doubling the damage dice, you may choose to have an alternate outcome from the list below:

Deal a Wound to the target equal to the damage dealt.

Perform the Grapple action for 0 AP

Perform the Shove action for 0 AP

Perform the Stagger action for 0 AP

Perform the Knock action for 0 AP

Perform the Forcefully Climb action for 0 AP

Perform the Disarming Attack action for 0 AP
