Skill Checks are Ability Checks, but using the appropriate Skill. Each skill represents the specific uses of the related attribute, and your chance to succeed at certain tasks based upon your Attributes and familiarity with the task, or other bonuses and modifiers, such as equipment. To perform a Skill Check, roll a d20 and apply the Skill’s Bonus to the result.
