Obscurians
Led by In’terneax, this legion represents inner conflict, ambition, self-confrontation, and the fires of personal evolution.
They might help mortals overcome trauma, break toxic cycles, or achieve breakthroughs in art and magic, guiding souls toward metamorphosis. Yet they can also drive people into obsession, amplify self-loathing, or fuel destructive ambition, leaving mortals devoured by their own shadows.
Discordiacs
Led by Dis’kordiel, this legion embodies conflict, rivalry, struggle, and the sharpening force of friction.
They may overthrow tyrants, inspire personal growth through competition, or ignite revolutions that strengthen nations, pushing mortals toward self-defined greatness. But they may also incite war for sport, breed hatred between allies, or escalate disputes into bloodshed, turning the world into a battlefield of their delight.
Wyldrathians
Led by Nat’uroth, these demons embody nature’s wrath, primal instinct, wild chaos, and the unshaped world.
They may restore corrupted lands, empower hunters and druids, or break empires that exploit the wild, defending nature’s sovereignty. But they may also unleash storms and beasts, raze settlements, or reduce mortals to prey, letting the world reclaim civilization with tooth and claw and storm.
It is believed Wyldrathians have some connection to the Kiln and Wyrd.
Revoltors
Led by Legi’slias, this legion governs rebellion, resistance, civil upheaval, and the destruction of oppressive systems.
They may inspire revolutions against unjust rulers, expose systemic injustices, or liberate enslaved peoples, acting as catalysts for change. Yet they can also overthrow stable societies, unleash chaos for amusement, or replace tyrants with worse ones, reveling in collapse rather than liberation.
Beyonders
Led by Par’annex, these demons embody the uncanny, the supernatural unknown, cosmic terror, and the confrontation with what lies beyond.
They may reveal hidden truths, expand mortal understanding of magic, or defend the world against entities even stranger, pushing societies to evolve. But they can also shatter minds with revelations, tear rifts between realms, or unleash horrors, weaponizing the unknown for chaos.
Chronovores
Led by Fa’tumias, this legion personifies defiance of destiny, rebellion against inevitability, and the shattering of cosmic order.
They might free mortals from fatal prophecies, break ancestral curses, or save those “fated” to die, championing possibility over predetermination. Yet they may also collapse timelines, unravel necessary destinies, or plunge entire regions into paradox, turning existence itself into a dice roll.
Chronovores are known to be in constant conflict with the Fundamyths due to their fate-disruptive nature.
Trivia
The six demonic legions are based off the six conflicts in literature. These trace their origins back to the works of Aristotle and were expanded on over the centuries by writers like Percy Lubbock, Lajos Egri, Robert McKee, Janet Burroway, etc.
