❝ They call this realm mundane. I call it brave— it keeps going without certainty. ❞
— Unnamed Dalro Caravaner
The world of Yoren exists here. Though but one planet among unnumbered stars, Yoren holds the gaze of mortals and higher beings alike, its histories shaping much of the known story and all that will follow.
The Aria is the echo plane of true balanced resonance, the physical universe where the Grand Song takes form as matter. It is the realm of stars and galaxies, of planets and moons, of seas and skies. Unlike the abstract planes of Hymn, Clamor, or Chorus, or the violent and coiling natures of the Kiln and Wyrd, the Aria is stable and inhabited; to mortals it is not “a plane” at all, but reality itself.
The Aria exists at the border where the Wyrd and Kiln intersect: the Kiln shaping elemental law, and the Wyrd weaving cycles of growth and decay. Their resonance together grants the Aria its balance of nature and matter; form and change.
It is here where most souls are born and live their lives. Every choice, act of faith, or breath of belief reverberates outward, seeding angels, demons, spirits, and gods within the Chorus. Thus the Aria is not only stage but fountain: the proving ground of mortal resonance, where fleeting lives give rise to eternal echoes.
The Aria is also the home of celestial and cosmic magic. Practitioners align with the rhythms of stars, constellations, and planets, drawing upon the vast cadence of the cosmos.
Though fragile before greater planes, the Aria endures so long as the Grand Song is sung. It is the verse in which all lives are written, and the song most keenly heard.
