Tales of Nimoria is intended for a mature audience. By choosing to participate, players acknowledge that they may be exposed to serious and potentially disturbing themes, including, but not limited to; death, murder, eldritch or cosmic horror, violence, intense conflict, and geopolitical or societal strife.

These elements exist to support Nimoria’s narrative depth and worldbuilding, and may appear in both roleplay and event-driven storylines. Players are expected to engage with these themes responsibly and with respect for fellow participants.

If you are uncomfortable with mature or heavy subject matter or prefer lighthearted or consequence-free roleplay, Tales of Nimoria may not be the right fit for you.

As always, player safety and consent remain important. If a particular topic crosses a personal boundary, we encourage players to communicate with Moderation so concerns can be addressed appropriately.

  1. The following is considered to be FailRP, meaning to not roleplay realistically or fairly. Any version of this, give or take, is strictly prohibited.

    a. Metagaming- using knowledge obtained out-of-character in anyway..

    b. Powergaming (or Godmodding), forcing actions or outcomes without giving players the chance to react.

    c. AvoidRP, logging off to avoid in-character consequences or refusing to return to a pre-established roleplay scenario

    d. Failure to FearRP, failing to react realistically to a situation with potentially dire repercussions.

    i. This rule has a few stipulations depending on the situation and characters involved. Staff have final say on whether this rule was broken or not.

    e. Disruptive RP, roleplay that is disruptive, disorderly, or otherwise lessens the experience of others. You are expected to treat other players’ time with respect.

  2. The use of Alternate characters and/ or accounts to abuse the system is not allowed

    a. Players may not directly interact with their own accounts and characters. They may not gather information using said accounts and/ or characters to further their narrative or goals and create an unfair advantage, this is another form of meta-gaming

  3. The following topics are banned from roleplay interactions...

    a. ERP, Erotic Role Play, and any sexually explicit interactions. This includes nude characters.

    b. Sexual abuse and violence

    c. Incest

  4. Sensitive roleplay topics must be role-played with respect, common sense, and consent with those involved. Sensitive roleplay would include; Characters with disabilities (physical and / or mental), addiction and substance abuse, childbirth and fertility challenges, abuse (physical, mental, verbal), Suicide, self-harm, Extreme Gore (such as torture, Nuggeting, etc.), and child death. Players who portray these conditions without respect repeatedly may be subject to warning or ban.

    a. When roleplaying such topics, all members involved must give consent before being subjected to such topics.

    b. When exploring these topics it must be roleplayed in a private setting so that unsuspecting individuals do not just walk into the conversation.

  5. All instances of grievous injury, permanent maiming, or character death require player consent. A player or DM may not impose extreme harm or death on another character unless consent has been clearly given or the player was explicitly informed ahead of time that the situation carried a serious risk of such consequences. Consent is always an out-of-character decision. You should never roleplay your character as if their actions are consequence-free in order to avoid harm after the fact. Doing so constitutes metagaming.

Situations that may reasonably result in maiming or death include:

    a. Participation in events clearly labeled as dangerous or otherwise worded to indicate serious risk

    b. Pre-arranged CRP or combat scenes where all involved parties agreed that injury, maiming, or death were possible outcomes

    c. Knowingly committing violent or high-risk criminal acts that would reasonably invite severe retaliation

Situations where it is especially important to state your consent clearly:

    a. CRP encounters

    b. Events or scenes that escalate into danger despite not being labeled as such beforehand. You will be responsible for communicating the level of harm you consent to.

    c. Scenarios where your character is being targeted by individuals or groups intending to act violently

Once consent to injury, maiming, or death has been given, either before or during a scene, it cannot be revoked retroactively to avoid consequences. This includes attempting to withdraw consent at the last moment or after the scene has concluded.

If you are unsure whether a situation requires consent, or if questions arise, particularly regarding CRP, please contact Moderation before, during, or after the event to seek clarification or discuss concerns.

  6.  Figura models must be tasteful. While we are an 18+ server, that does not mean every member wants to be subjected to sexual elements. When playing a female model, please be respectful with breast size. Jiggle physicals on the chest are not permitted on the server, as staff have deemed that configuration to be used for sexual purposes. When playing a male model do not add a bulge to the groin region. Posteriors should not be added to any sex of model. When in doubt, contact staff.

    • If you, as a player, find someone’s model to be offensive but it does not break Nimoria’s rule set, we ask you block their figura model on your client side.

  1. Characters must adhere to the appearance and anatomy of the ancestry of your choosing. Some leeway may be discussed if valid reasoning is provided, but do keep true to the lore as much as possible.

  2. Character backstories and skins must fit the setting and time period of Nimoria. This means no modern clothing (ex. T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, sneakers, etc.), real world locations and events, technology, or references to pop culture and celebrities.

    a. Additionally, skins and descriptions should match the character you are playing upon being whitelisted.

  3. Characters must be over the age of 18 according to the age conversions of the chosen ancestry. No minor PC characters are allowed. Children of PC characters may be mentioned and alluded to.

  4. Your character may start off with a disability, but this must be done respectfully and appropriately. You must also accept any mechanical downsides that come with certain disabilities.

  5. Character names should remain inoffensive and realistic to the world of Yoren.

  6. While we are an 18+ server and allow for some sensitive content to be mentioned in character backstories, please be tasteful about it and do not go overboard. Trigger warnings should also be placed at the top of a submitted application if applicable.

    a. Hard no’s include topics of necrophilia, bestiality, pedophilia, etc. Please have common sense.

  7. Two lore references are to be included anywhere in your character application. This can be through subtle nods to existing cultures in Yoren via appearance and personality, or direct mentions of historical events and natural phenomena (ex. animals, plants, etc.).

    a. These references must apply to your character and how they’ve become the person they are today. Be creative!

    b. Mere mentions of names and terms without its nuance will not be considered lore references.

  8. Only one character application may be submitted at a time. If your application is denied, you may resubmit with the necessary changes, but please do not submit the same application and expect a different outcome.
