The Grand Song is the name of the universe upon which the tales of Nimoria and its world, Yoren unfold. It is an immense cosmic totality encompassing all planes of existence, from the lofty realms of The Hymn (Order) and the Clamor (Chaos) to The Kiln, Wyrd, and Aria (Flux).

It originated from the First Tone, the primordial vibration that shattered the eternal Silence of the Hush (Void) and birthed Sound, setting all creation into motion.

Chaos, Order and Flux are its foundational forces, and their eternal tension generates the motion that sustains reality, while Void actively seeks to snuff it out, seeing it nothing more than "noise". All magic arises from resonance within this song, and the Chorus acts as the connective “space between,” linking all of its planes.
