"The Canticle of First and Last Light" from the Prichordialist Faith is the oldest "proven" creation myth on Yoren.

Ere time and dawn was naught,
Yet broke and birthed the light,
And twain from oneness wrought,
Twin consorts loud and bright.

They lov'd, and laid, and warr'd,
A third was thence conceiv'd,
The Flux Incarnate walk'd,
To kin they paid no heed.

The child wove three domains,
Of flame, and dream, and woe,
Yet yielded up their reign,
So love and grief may grow.

The Trees and Titans fell,
One linger'd on of both,
The seed liv'd, grew, and swell'd,
The latter sank in sloth.

From that lone tree there sprang,
All Yoren's breath that live,
Yet Flux by swarth was stung,
Had naught but shade to give.

Three kin at last gave ear,
And learnt the arts arcane,
But when the dusk drew near,
They were betray'd in vain.

The sky shattered that day,
Echdrassil's heart burnt black,
And 'mid the starless fray,
Gaz'd something staring back.

Beware the sixfold dark,
Unmaking's dirge sublime,
Sing forth the final spark,
To bar all unbenign.

Through stagnance deep and hung,
All chords shall break anew,
All grace that once was sung,
Shall fade from mortal view.

Wayfarer, tread 'fore death,
For time doth slowly wane,
Sing on til thine last breath,
Lest Silence claims its reign.

The Selkotean Pneumatikos Silas Marovelโ€™s account is regarded as the earliest systematic attempt to frame the origin of planes and divinity. He himself claimed not authorship but transcription, writing that the verses โ€œcame to me in sleep, borne on the echo between waking and dream.โ€

Scholars of the Thaumatarchate and Chordsworn order still debate whether his โ€œQuiet Revelationโ€ was divine inspiration or the fevered vision of a mystic, but its words endure as the cornerstone of cosmology.
