Claduhan tend to exist within complex underground colonies with a matriarchal hierarchy, forming large, interconnected families that work to defend the colony and provide food for their people. The leaders of these families tend to be female, who often organize expeditions, delegate responsibilities, and have the final say in the workings of their respective colonies.
Because of the importance of group cooperation in these colonies, Claduhan bear strong values in family and social harmony, believing that a single individual is not enough to create change. Even without a working colony, traveling Claduhan are still often seen in groups who actively work together with a pack-like mentality to handle different types of conflict.
Despite their reliance on each other, this is not limited to those of the same race. Claduhan are capable of forming similar, if not the same, bonds with those they deem close-knit companions. Because of this, they are rarely seen functioning solo, even past the point of adulthood, but there are always special cases where they have been forsaken by their groups and forced to fend for themselves.
