Claduhan (Goblins)

❝ The Claduhan move like shadows through the underbrush; small, clever, and always together. Alone they are vulnerable, but with their family, they are unstoppable. ❞

The Claduhan are a fey-descended mortal race shaped by exile and survival rather than natural evolution.

Once sent to the material plane by the Broodmother, their ancestors rebelled and were left to survive in forests and underground tunnels.

Over generations, they evolved small, nimble bodies, exceptional camouflage, and heightened senses to navigate predators and harsh environments. Claduhan live in matriarchal colonies or cooperative packs, valuing family, teamwork, and social harmony. Though mortal and short-lived, they carry the cunning and resilience of their fey ancestry in every movement and decision.

Claduhan are compact, standing between 91–127 cm at maturity, with females occasionally reaching 157 cm. Their bodies are lean and nimble, built for stealth, climbing, and rapid movement. Skin and hair colors shift to match their surroundings, ranging from earthy browns to vibrant greens, sometimes patterned for camouflage. Leaf-shaped ears and subtle arachnidian features, such as fine microhairs on limbs, enhance perception.

Claduhan possess sharp teeth, curled claws, and occasionally mild venom for hunting or defense. Wings are absent, but subtle fey traits persist in their agility and reflexes.

They reach adulthood at 12–14 years and have short lifespans of roughly 40–60 years. Claduhan reproduce soon after maturity, often forming tight-knit family units within colonies. Despite their small size, they are socially sophisticated, cooperative, and highly adaptive to varied environments.
