HUMANOIDS

🟩 Respected for their craftsmanship and strength. Tallfolk often trade with dwarves and value their sturdy goods. Educated tallfolk appreciate the dwarves' engineering skills and cultural heritage, while less educated tallfolk respect their hard work and reliability. | |
🟥 Feared and mistrusted due to their association with darkness and slavery. Tallfolk of all backgrounds view dark elves as dangerous and to be avoided or confronted with caution. Small settlements are common targets for dark elves, who raid for slaves and resources; this has instilled a lot of fear and hostility among rural tallfolk. | |
🟨 Seen as eccentric but brilliant. Tallfolk appreciate gnomish inventions and magical expertise, though, due to a difference in societal upbringing, they often find their methods and attitudes confusing. | |

Kobolds, Goblins, Tengu, Wildlings, Orcs, Changelings | 🟥 Seen as dangerous and often primitive. Educated tallfolk may recognize the individual merits and potential for alliances, while less educated tallfolk are more likely to view them as threats or inferiors, particularly those working in farming or living in smaller settlements. Smaller / rural communities frequently come into conflict with demi-humans and monsters in the wilds, fostering a culture of fear and prejudice against them. |
