Arc, Arcfire or Arcanima is a power-source not fully understood. First discovered by dwarvenkind as a means to power some of their mechanima constructs and machinery.

Though it is not quite the same as anima, it partially shares its name with it because the denizens understand arcanima to give 'life' to those items it imbues the same way anima does to breathing creatures.

However, Arcfire is still a manifestation of aether; Albiet in highly unstable form.

Dwarven Mastery.

The Dwarves, with their insatiable curiosity and knack for invention, have delved deepest into the mysteries of Arcfire. Through tireless experimentation, they have developed techniques to channel and contain this volatile energy. Dwarven Arcsmiths can imbue weapons with a scorching white-hot glow, enhancing their destructive potential. More complex contraptions, marvels of Dwarven engineering known as Arcanamae, utilize Arcfire to power intricate mechanisms, humming with a life of their own.
