The Realm Matrix is a primary cosmic organizational structure in which many ordered or nascent worlds, called Realmstars, orbit a primary confluence of aetheric energy, such as Asra. These realms are distinct and different from one another- though all are connected by Starcurrents to the confluence and to each other. 

Travel is possible between Realmstars using the Starcurrents, though not until the denizens within the world find a way to breach the Veil or it is diminished.

Worlds that are not connected to the central confluence may not be for many reasons. Travel to these words is extremely treacherous and nearly impossible. These are called Sealed Realms. Intelligent life on a Sealed Realm is usually not aware of life outside of their Realm. Distinct from Veiled Realms, which are still connected to the central confluence, but cannot yet be entered from outside the veil.
