Style and fashion.

Elvenkind has had many years to develop their tastes and aesthetics- their ideals reflecting in their art, craft and clothing. While each sub-culture has their own manifestations, one can make some generalisations. They favour accentuating limbs and extremities and shapes that flow down, behind and away from their bodies, perhaps reflective of the way their light aurae might appear to them and dressed in a way that manipulates it's appearance.

Keyholes, bare chests, waists, thighs and shoulders are very common. Airy gowns that hang at the neck and shoulders are the usual outerwear and may or may not be gathered at the waist.

Armour.

Elven arms and armour do reflect their ordinary clothing and will often feature keyholes that bare skin in defiance of the enemy as if in taunt.

Hair cutting.

Among elves, the act of cutting hair is associated with disgrace, defeat or debt to another individual.

It hampers their ability to sense subtle aether fluctuations around them and can lessen the otherworldly knowing elves are widely known for. It's not common for elves to willingly cut their hair.

It is more common for conflicts between Elven forces to result in the defeated commander having his hair cut or cutting it himself with a blade.

View of Other Peoples.

Human

"Men, alas, are bound by the fleeting nature of their existence. Blinded by the brevity of their days, they exploit the very essence of life itself for fleeting gains. Why wouldn't they? Their consequences linger long after their bodies have faded from this world."
