Our application process is straightforward and simple, as you will soon find out. Whilst we keep it basic, that doesn’t mean that we allow everything and anything onto our server. Here at Black Colossus, we pride ourselves on quality over quantity and will always strive to keep our standards high and environment immersive.
To submit your character application, head into our Discord in the channel called #Character-Creation and select the appropriate option.
General Guidelines
We don’t allow players to create characters based directly from important actors in the lore, related to them in any way or straight-up copies of existing characters within the universe.
For example, playing the son of a King, a sister of Valeria, a distant cousin of Epimetreus, Conan himself, etc.
Exceptions in Conan, such as Belit Queen of the Black Coast, Valeria, and other important side characters in Conan lore should not be taken as an example to justify your desired backstory. Exceptions are no longer special when everyone tries to be one; keep in mind you can be very much special without bending or breaking our beloved universe.
We discourage the use of AI to create / write your application; although we have no way of knowing if you used it or not, know that you will be expected to hold yourself to our standards for immersion, grammar and vocabulary even after your application is approved.
