THE TAKEN

Mindless husks of various species mostly created by Oryx the Taken King, the Taken can only function as a unit if someone or something takes the reins. Otherwise, they mindlessly thirst for the Light, wherever they can find it.

KNOWN PRESENCES

Commanded Taken: A Leader has taken over, and can command these deadly entities with mere thoughts, like an external instinct. In the current canon, Xivu Arath is one Taken Commander.

Wayward Taken: Leaderless, these Taken wander, but are drawn to any sources of the Light- no matter how small.
