THE CABAL
Heavily militarized, the Cabal are composed of enormous, muscular, yet intelligent creatures. They value pride, combat, and glory above all else. Once, they were conquerors and had brought other races into their fold. Ever since their homeworld was destroyed by Xivu Arath, they seem a shadow of their former selves. Legend tells of Athenaeum Worlds filled with great Cabal technologies, claimed from conquest, or developed by those they conquered. Most famous among their member species are the Psions
KNOWN ARMIES
Imperial Cabal: Led by Empress Caiatl, these Cabal are allies of Humanity.
Shadow Legion / Loyalists: Servants of the Entity in the Darkness, brought into the fold by the previous Emperor, Calus.
Splinter Legions: Various groups of Cabal soldiers disillusioned by the leadership on all sides. These include former Red Legion, Siege Dancers, Sand Eaters, Blind Legion, Dust Giants, Ice Reapers, and even some Loyalists. Some have fallen into piracy, even allying themselves with Eliksni pirates.
