THE VEX
A near-unfathomable swarm of robotic lifeforms that rewrite reality to fit their unknowable agenda. They appear to have some sort of control over time itself. Many seem to form under oddly fanatical “beliefs” in objects of worship, but the more we learn about the Vex, the more unknowable they seem.
KNOWN COLLECTIVES
Sol Divisive: A faction of Vex that worships the Darkness and the Entity behind it. They primarily operate out of the Black Garden, accessible from a portal on Mars and on Luna. They seem to operate independently from other Vex factions.
Sol Collective: A heavily consolidated Vex faction responsible for the near-complete transformation of Nessus, the complete transformation of Mercury, and other various terraforming projects on smaller scales. Their operations include Io and the long-standing assaults on Neptune.
Hezen Collective: A Sol-connected Vex faction specifically responsible for the reality engine known as the Vault of Glass. They are headed by Atheon, Time’s Conflux.
Infinite Proxies: A Vex faction responsible for maintaining the Infinite Forest- an immense reality-bending machine made out of Mercury.
