03/26/23: Changed Ability Score Improvements

05/10/23: Added feature to Spark of Momentum. Tweaked wording and readability across the board. Added “Other” and “Raid Boss” Factions. Added “Terminology section”. Also Strand Hunters finally got their Charged Melee.

05/16/23: Added stat sheets for creatures. The Enemies tab is now a living nightmare, but at least the basic stuff is all there.

05/20/23: Reorganized everything into LegendKeeper, minor wording fixes across the board, (again!) reworked Weapon Archetypes. Cleaned up Factions and monster sheets.

Exotic Weapons and Armor are all imported from the games, with most of them actually containing rules. Some D1 exotics exempted until I get around to researching what they do. I at least want to get the "Voidlord" and "Solarlord" in.

05/21/23: Contributed more to monster sheets- namely Fallen.

05/22/23: Rules added and tweaked for all Exotic Armor. Added rules for some (*most) Exotic Weapons.

5/23/23: All Exotic Weapons now have rules- and also catalysts. Remembered to add Slug property and Fast-Load property to Weapons info, added Exotic Proficiency to Guardians at Level 10. Also pretty-ified Exotic Armor and Exotic Weapons pages somewhat.

Added Season of the Deep Exotics. Renamed “Ammo Perks” to “Secondary Perks”

5/30/23: Added more to monster sheets. Hive and Fallen are mostly done. Also clarified the action economy behind casting a Super.

6/02/23: Added Enemy Design Philosophy tab under “Factions”. This will be referenced when designing enemies in the future. (this is more so i don’t forget)

Also added the Scythe from Season of the Haunted under Exotic Weapons.

6/06/23: Tweaked rules for: Cabal racial options, Falling Damage.

08/10/23: Tweaks and wording fixes for Exotic Armor and Weapons, removed a duplicate Stag, added Wicked Implement Scout Rifle. Added additional Items. Added Nightmare and SIVA-Spliced Champion Modifier, added Raid Boss stat blocks. Added more difficulty modifiers.

08/14/23: Added weapon perks, clarified rules for enemy Elemental Shields, clarification on certain Exotic weapons, changed the name from Repulsor Brace to Destabilizing Rounds (it was more fitting.)

(Relating to Repulsor Brace, Should I add rules for the other elemental prefixes, or would that make things far too complicated?)

08/22/23: Added more to Eliksni stat sheets. Once Ability Scores, Saves, and Attacks are added and cleaned up, I can apply similar setups to other factions.

Also cleaned up some wording and added minor notes for situational scenarios- such as potential Kinetic Tremors/Osmosis synergy.

08/23/23: Added Season 22 exotics, Added Wolfpack Rounds to Gjallarhorn's Catalyst. Added and edited more Eliksni/Fallen stat sheets. Added new Strand Aspects of Power. Cleaned up wording and formatting from Main page down to Arc Sparks. Clarified Grenade SAVE Rules.

08/28/23: Added long-range rules to Grenade and Rocket Launchers, also modified Jolt to make it as reliable as all of the other conditions. (and less roll-intensive) Also modified several exotic weapons and armor features.

09/07/23: Buffed Astrocyte Verse. Continued picking away at the Eliksni stat sheets.

09/10/23: Cleaned up syntax and tweaked balance for Exotic Armour.

09/11/23: Added Psions as a Race/Heritage option under "Cabal." Also continued cleaning up syntax across the board. Also added a section for notes on synergies with 5e features (namely Classes)

11/18/23: Added a new custom Exotic Bow weapon, as well as Exotic Class Items, under Other. (Below the Aeon Cult exotics.) Added Origin Traits and rules for adding them to weapons.

12/05/23: Added Warlord's Ruin Exotic Weapon, Buried Bloodline. Tweaked rules for the Explosive Payload Secondary Perk to account for Rocket-Propelled Sidearms.

12/07/23: Reorganized Exotic Weapons and Armor into individual tabs within the pages. Reorganized Exotic Armor in alphabetical order.

12/18/23: Added new Status conditions to provide clarity to Stasis- and Strand-related de-buffs. Judging by the checklist, incorporating them properly is going to involve some foundational tweaking. Goodie goodie gumdrops!

12/19/23: Added Wish-Keeper.

1/26/24: Cleaned up wording under Lightbearers and Subclasses, added additional Supers to certain Subclasses (some remain WIP until details are cleared up in The Final Shape) Cleaned up wording throughout all of Aspects of Power and Equipment. Incorporated new Stasis- and Strand-related debuffs into Aspects of Power. (May need more work, but I'd need feedback for that.) Added Glossary.

3/26/24: Added Brave-inspired Origin Traits, added Curated Legendary Weapons, which will finally include a format for creating new weapons by DM's.

04/09/2024: Incorporated Prismatic, changed Aspects of Power to grant two at Level 5.

04/11/2024: Added Scorched Earth modifier to Difficulty Modifiers.

04/17/2024: Added Eager Edge and Permeability as Main Weapon Perks.

04/27/2024: Added new Race/Heritage features to Hive and Human, added Firing Line Main Weapon Perk, Added Catalysts to Navigator and Same Grace, moar wording and syntax tweaks. Added "Unique Legendary Weapons" under "Exotic Weapons," to provide examples. (Also finally reading D&Destiny rules as of this changelog!)

05/01/2024: Added Prismatic Exotic Item, added Ascendent Alloy and Ascended Perk options. Began work on a Weapon Generator system. (The odd number of weapons is making the roll tables difficult to figure out.)

05/02/2024: Completed Weapon rolling system. Added Weapons of Sorrow crafting.

05/17/2024: Began creation of custom (5e) Classes/Subclasses, Backgrounds, and Feats. These are optional rules. Then again, what isn't optional in this homebrew?

05/23/2024: Bungie's abilities and weapons preview before Final Shape has given me a lot of homework to do here. Major tweaks to Stasis Whispers, including Frost Armor implementation. Added Final Shape exotics that we know of. Added Exotic Armor Catalysts to all Exotic armor. Added more Items.

06/06/24: Custom Guardian Class is complete as a first draft.

06/09/24: Added Final Shape Exotics, added changes to Khvostov Exotic.

06/14/24: Added Support Weapon Refit, Beautified Custom Feats, minor cleanup on certain Exotic wording.

07/05/24: Added Optional Weapon features, from Origin Traits to Main Perks.

08/15/24: Added Buccaneer's Insurance Hunter Exotic. Homebrew!!! :D

08/30/24: Minor tweaks. Thanks to new players trying this out and pointing out issues! :D

Todo:

  • Buddy's idea: "Exotic Armor... Catalysts!!!" Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I can't see this being not broken! I'm into it!
  • Replace "Wellspring" with "Strategist" (It's a better name for that perk)
  • Add Custom "Class" (5e Class, not Guardian Class... Man, this isn't confusing at all!)
  • Clean up Custom Class, (I may need more input to figure out balance tweaks.)
  • Add Custom Backgrounds
  • Add Custom Feats
  • Complete Stat blocks for enemies (It's a lot, I know...)
  • Normalize font and formatting.

NOTE: As a DM, you can always make the call on creature design and the contents of stat sheets and the economy. The guidelines posed here are merely guidelines. (In that sense, this homebrew is technically complete!)
